NaNoWriMo Day 1

So it’s day one and I wrote 344 words. I feel like I could have done more but I was working all day, and as soon as I got home, I went to folding laundry and made dinner. I say all this to say that if I want to write 50,000 this time around, I would have to do 1,667 words a day to that. Yet I have already written two chapters of the book, so I just need to take what I have already written and subtract it from 50,000 to know my goal for this NaNoWriMo. With that being said, I have written 6,373 words thus far. So that means I have 43,627 words that I actually need to write for this November. And that means I need to write 1,455 words daily.

While I’m off to a slow start, at least I don’t have as much to write as I thought I did and that does make me feel a little better. So tomorrow, I have to write at least 2,566 words to stay on track. Wish me luck.
