NaNoWriMo Day 27
So it just wasn’t happening today. I thought I was better today with only a little cough, but as the day went on and the temperature dropped, my nasal passages became more and more stuffed; I’ve now spent more time sneezing and blowing my nose than writing. Also, I have been working on other projects at the same time, so I’ve bitten off more than I can chew. Thus I’m taking some meds and going to bed. Stay tuned for more tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll be feeling better.
Here's an excerpt of what I wrote today before the sickness set in. Enjoy.
Derrick made me place my hands over my face so I couldn’t see where we were going. So it was hard to focus on the scenery of the ride, but I guessed Derrick thought of that since he started peppering me with unusual questions for a second date.
“What’s a weird dream you’ve had that you just had to google the meaning for?” was the first one he dropped on me.
I immediately plopped my hands into my lap, staring at his disbelievingly. “What?”
“No peeking.” He covered my face with his hands this time. “Now answer the question.”
“Alright, alright. Give me a minute.” I laughed, covering his hands with mine.
