When I first started reading this book, I immediately groaned. The cover made me think this book was going to be about track or something like that, not politics. This book was really hard for me to read. I kept having to stop and give myself a minute. It was just making me very heated. The one thing I liked about this book was how it challenged political views on both sides and how there wasn’t one right answer. Running Mates is about how the people we know and don’t know shape our political views and how everything isn’t as black and white as it seems.
